Integrate 750+ apps with Tuskify + Zapier

Integrating with Zapier is currently by invite only, whilst we put the finishing touches on it.  If you would like an invite, please click here.

Upgrade your automation superpowers by integrating Zapier with Tuskify! Zapier has over 750 apps that you can integrate with and Tuskify can work seamlessly with all of them!

How about connecting Tuskify to Google Calendar to create an event when you add a note with a reminder?

Or adding a new to do item to Todoist when your note contains a checkbox?

The possibilities are endless!

The process is straightforward... set up a recipe in Tuskify to trigger on what you want in your notes, and then pass the actions on to Zapier.

On the Pro and Business plans you’ll find a “push to Zapier” action. With this added to your recipes, whenever the triggers are matched, Tuskify will “push” the details of your recipe and note to Zapier to integrate with hundreds of apps.

In Zapier, you can connect as many “zaps” to Tuskify as you like. Each time your actions are pushed to Zapier, we will run every Zap that you have connected to Tuskify.

To set this up, you first need to generate an API key in Tuskify. This allows Zapier to securely communicate with Tuskify (this key is private to you, so keep it safe!).

STEP 1: GENERATE YOUR API KEY

In My Account, go to the Security tab and find the API Keys section. Click Create API Key, choose Zapier in the box that’s pops up and click Create. You’ll now see a new entry under API Keys:

Copy the long sequence of numbers and letters - this is your key!

STEP 2: CREATE YOUR ZAP

Now head over to Zapier and create a new Zap. A detailed guide on doing this is here, but we’ll take you through the Tuskify bits...

Once you click Make a Zap, you’ll see Choose a Trigger App where you can search for “Tuskify” and you’ll see a familiar icon in the results:

Once you click this, Zapier will ask you to choose a trigger. This is a Zapier trigger, not a Tuskify trigger, and you will have only one option - Tuskify Triggers Matched:

Select this and the next step is when you connect to Tuskify. Click Connect an Account and a new window will open asking for your Tuskify API key. Paste in the value from Tuskify that you copied earlier. Click Continue once done.

It may take a few moments for Zapier to check your API key, but once done it will take you back to the accounts list, where you should now see the account you just connected:

Choose Continue and Zapier will prompt you to check with Tuskify for some example data. Once this has completed, you can now move on to choosing what apps to integrate Tuskify with!

If you want more control over which recipes run which Zaps, you can do that too! In Zapier, you can add a filter to only run when triggered by a specific recipe, for example:

In your Zap, underneath the Tuskify trigger:

  1. Click the plus sign
  2. Choose Filter
  3. Choose Save + Continue for Only Continue If...

This allows you to set conditions for when your Zap should run. For example, if you wanted to run your Zap when it was triggered by your “Add tag to notes” recipe, you would choose “Recipe.Name” in the filter list, “Matches Exactly” as the Condition and “Add tag to Notes” as the Value:

STEP 3: CREATE YOUR RECIPE

The final piece of the puzzle is to create your recipe in Tuskify to push your notes to Zapier.

You’re probably familiar with how to do this already, but we’ll show you how just in case...

In My Recipes, click Add Recipe.

When your new recipe is created, click Add Trigger to add the triggers that you want to match on your notes. For example, if you wanted to only trigger on notes that had the tag “zapier” added to them, add the following trigger:

Once you’re done with the Triggers, click Add Action. The only action you’ll need to add it “push to Zapier”:

THAT'S IT!

You’re all done, and once you enable your recipe in Tuskify and your Zap in Zapier, any notes that have the tag “zapier” will be pushed to your new Zap.
